WOOL SKEIN \\ ARAN 100g ZWARTBLES

Limited small batch, hand-spun Zwartbles yarn produced directly from farm to needle.
 
Zwartbles wool produces a completely natural and undyed yarn ranging from a rich dark brown colour through to black. It sits within a medium to fine yarn, averaging around 27-32 microns and its staple is typically around 4-5 inches. It produces a strong fibre with incredible insulating qualities.
 
Our small mixed flock are reared on various parcels of permanent pasture between the North Cotswolds and West Oxfordshire. Shorn on our farm each year, the best fleeces are the  hand-spun by an independent local spinner and the result produces a unique and highly sought after yarn.
